Day Instructions
Arrival Time
Please plan on arriving on the IUPUI campus by 7 AM, so you can arrive at the Department of Pharmacy Practice Offices by 8:00 AM when orientation will begin.
Our offices are located on the 7
th floor
of the Myers Building of Wishard Hospital. The building is shown on the attached IUPUI campus map as Building WD. You should enter either the main entrance or the emergency room entrance.
Parking
On the first day of the rotation there are three options for parking. During your orientation on
the first day, you will be instructed as to the locations to park for the remainder of the month.
1.) This option will cost approximately $8, but is the easiest. Park in the Wishard Parking Garage
at the southwest corner of University Blvd and Wishard Blvd (IUPUI map), it is directly across the street from the Wishard Hospital Main entrance.
2.) The only free parking at the medical center is at a Wishard lot on the east side of Stadium
Drive at 1201 Stadium Drive. Do not park in the lot at 1200 Stadium Drive (west side of Stadium Drive). At the orientation
you will be given instructions for other options. If you wish to park in the IUPUI lot on Stadium Drive then bring an extra
$5 to purchase a Wishard Parking tag that hangs from your rearview mirror. To see more information on this parking option,

3.) One other option is to go to the Parking Office (P with a circle in the lower left corner of
the XB Parking Garage - see the map). If you can go before the first Monday and secure the parking permit, it will save you from the charge in the
Wishard garage since you could park there the first day. The cost will be about $15 per calendar month and remember to
bring your license plate number with you when you go.
Things to bring with you on the first day
1. White lab coat
2. Nametag
3. Clerkship manual and portfolio
4. Money for parking, lunch, Wishard ID badge (non-refundable $10), etc.
